Perfect for what we needed, slept 6 and an infant. Good location city centre walking distance plenty or restaurants pubs and things to do

The beds were comfy and we were given some basics like tea, coffee and shower gel.
My dog came along - there is a very small courtyard (about the size of a single bed) which was fine for her as she’s small. A note for reactive dog owners is that the house is on a busy road, so there is noise outside that might set them off. Mine got used to it after a while.
We actually forgot a necklace when we left, which is very sentimental, so it was hugely appreciated when the owner rang and arranged to meet us and give it back!

  An ideal base for looking around Shrewsbury due to being only a very short walk to the town centre. Bed was super comfy and bed linen smelled amazingly fresh and... read more clean. It’s a very quirky period property thats been converted as much as it can be to modern living standards.

You would need to have good mobility to stay here, due to the very steep and tricky stairs to the bedrooms. It would also be a challenge for tall people.

Outstanding communication from the owners at all times.

The property is located on a roundabout exit so wouldn’t suit someone who can’t stand traffic noise in the early mornings, although to be honest, we still slept well, even with the window open. Our ear plugs were useful. I guess noise is a trade off for the convenience of the location.

Could do with mentioning there isn’t enough seating for 6 people in the lounge or in the kitchen diner. Didn’t bother us as we were out and about a lot, but wouldn’t suit someone who wants to spend time at the property.

  We booked fairly last minute for 6 of us. The bedrooms were perfect with 2 big beds and a twin room. There was everything you needed in there (hair dryer,... read more washing up liquid, ironing board, hoover, cups etc). The instructions to get in were super easy and I did ask if we could possibly check in an hour or so early and he let me know that it was ready by 11:30am which was amazing. It was perfect for us we only stayed for 1 night but would loved to have stayed longer. It’s a 2 minute walk across the river to all of the pubs and about 15 minutes walk to the other side of the town so it was perfect especially as it has parking too. Would 100% recommend!
